With reference to previous correspondence on

the subject of the provision to be made i the Colonial

1948 Estimates for for "Barrack Services" I am directed

to remind you that the Colonial contribution is to be

distributed over a period of ten years, and that this Government is not therefore prepared to provide in any

one year a sum exceeding one thirtieth part of the total

estimated cost of the barrack works.
